Nikita Borisov is a professor at the University of Illinois and he is currently a visiting researcher at Cloudflare. His primary research focus is online privacy; specifically, understanding what kind of digital footprint we leave when we use the Internet, and building and analyzing technologies for reducing this footprint. A secondary focus is enabling users whose Internet access is censored to reach the open web. He has also worked on a variety of other topics, including machine learning security, applied cryptography, and password security.
